Christmassy Hot Chocolate Recipes!

Don’t you love this time of the year? Sipping on a warm cuppa and enjoying life in the festive spirit? I sure do and nothing or no one could bring me down! As the year goes by, I’ve had this tradition of keeping the Hot cocoa going and I’m back at it again with new recipes! This years winners are; Smores Hot Chocolate, Orange Chocolate Shot and Sea Salt White Chocolate.

Smores Hot Chocolate Recipe:

  • 3 Tbsp Dark Cocoa
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • Marshmallows
  • Sugar/Honey
  • Digestive Biscuits
  • Chocolate Syrup

Start by prepping your cup, dunk it in chocolate syrup, followed by dunking it in crushed digestives. Heat up milk, chocolate and honey together. Whisk until everything is combined. Pour in the mug. If you don’t have a blow torch, take Marshmallow pieces on a wooden stick and slightly char them on the stove. You’ve got instant smores hot cocoa!

Chocolate Orange Shot:

  • Small Orange-Chocolate Lindt
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Milk
  • Orange Zest
  • Cinnamon
  • Whipping cream {For decoration}

Take the small orange chocolate lindt with the milk and slowly bring it to heat. You could use the stove on low or a microwave. Add fine zest to make the orange pop and a pinch of cinnamon. You must get a ‘gloupy’ consistency. Pour in a shot glass, add whipped cream and orange zest to decorate. Feel free to make it boozy 🙂

Sea-Salt White Cocoa

  • White Cocoa 3 Tbsp
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp. Sea Salt
  • Cinnamon
  • Sprinkles
  • Whipping cream

Put the milk and chocolate on the stove. Whisk until combined. Add the sea-salt and sprinkles. Pour in a Christmassy mug, add whipping cream and sprinkles!
